The Home Bible Cells (HBCs) brings together for fellowship brethren who come from the same neighborhood. It is the basic administrative unit of the JEM. HBCs foster unity, good neighborliness besides being great platforms for corporate worship, prayer, and the sharing of the word of God. In them love is stirred up as well as good works. Here brethren exhort one another. HBCs are an extension of the mother church within the immediate community. Through them we showcase the love of Christ in the neighborhood through praying and visiting with the sick, meeting basic needs for the poor around us, mourning with our neighbors when they are mourning and rejoicing with them when they are rejoicing. HBCs are nurturing grounds for spiritual gifts. HBCs are also centers for Bible study and discipleship
